Geiger are to prepare "6" budgets <br /> *Joint Meeting of Fill the Boards on February 17. 1990 at the High School <br /> *J.Rya€i discussed the need for an enterprise ise fund for all recreation <br /> activities,includi€tg the golf course <br /> *discussion on the To i n Manager's revenue projections for motor vehicle <br /> excise tax <br /> * G. Burnell suggested that the Recreation Committee simply raise fees <br /> to offset costs rather than go to a full enterprise <br /> *A.C. has been criticized for general support of the Town budget due <br /> primarily to the School's autonomy <br /> • A.C. should be considered the financial arm of the Town Meeting, not <br /> of the Town Manager <br /> * attempt to act as an arbitor between the Manager and the Superintendent <br /> * A.C. to set independent revenue estimates <br /> *L.Gilson agreed with G.Burnell that the A.C. must make recommendations <br /> to Town Meeting <br /> * J.Pagett supports Town Manager and feels that the A.C. should try to <br /> bring the Town & School together <br /> * L.Gilson reiiterated the fact that we must make strong recommendations <br /> * G.Gurnell suggested that the A.C. notify the Town Meeting how much is <br /> available for the School & Town <br /> *A.C. members should report back to the full committee on the various <br />
