Campbell <br /> M. O'Sullivan expressed disappointment that the TM was unable to attend this <br /> evening. <br /> discussion of budget. as presented. was good in certain respects. but lacking <br /> in others. <br /> *Town Government pretty tight. but seems fat in water & sewer. <br /> *insurance up $780K. <br /> *school budget up more than 9.75% due to appropriations found within town <br /> budget tie: insurance) . <br /> *only item open for scrutiny is snow & ice. <br /> *crucial to find something to cut in both the Town and School. <br /> *.request Town Manager and Richard Spiers to attend next meeting. <br /> Richard Perry - insurance for retirees increased from $2K to $5K. <br /> *perhaps have P.A.B. review and recommend. <br /> Request copies of School Budget for all members of Appropriation Committee. <br /> Review of Exhibit 4 - T.M. FY'90 Capital Budget Equipment replacement. <br /> *discuss sidewalks <br /> *recreation <br /> *low/moderate income housing - selectmen hope to have a plot design for <br /> Meagerville by ATM. <br /> *suggest Reserve Fund to $300K. <br /> A. Lazarus discussed preparation of school budget with input from all sectors of the <br /> system. <br /> D. MacLean - discuss Special Ed appropriation @ 100% due to unsureness of 60e State <br /> reimbursement. <br /> School Capital request discussed. <br /> Discuss "free cash" and the possibility of limiting the % appropriated annually. <br /> Motion to adiourn. <br />
