TOWN WARRANT <br /> COMMONWEALTH OF MASSACHUSETTS, MIDDLESEX, SS <br /> To either of the Constables of the Town of Lexinctor , in said <br /> County, Greeting: <br /> In the name of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts , you are <br /> directed to notify the inhabitants of the Town of Lexington, <br /> qualified to vote in elections and in town affairs , to meet <br /> in the Cary Memorial Building, in said Lexington, on Monday, <br /> the twenty-fifth day of Jane 1934, at 8 :00 P .M. , then and there <br /> to act on the following articles : <br /> Article 1. To receive the report of any Boar of Town Officers <br /> or of any Committee of the Town, and to appoint cther Committees . <br /> Article 2 . To see if the Town will vote to appropriate money <br /> for the following accounts : Forest Fires ; Welfare Department <br /> and Printing of Plumbing By-Laws. <br /> Article 3. To see if the Town will authorize the present or <br /> any future Board of Selectmen in the name and on behalf of <br /> the town to convey to Ernest S. Glawson of Lexington, Massachusetts <br /> all the right, title and interest which the Town has by <br /> virtue of a tax deed from George W. Sampson, Collector of <br /> Taxes for the Town of Lexington to the Town of Lexington <br /> dated October 3, 1899, recorded with the Middlesex South District <br /> Registry of Deeds in Book 2772, Page 229 , and also by a deed <br /> from Byron C. Erle, Collector of Taxes for the Town of Lexington <br /> to the Town of Lexington, dated May 15, 1928 , recorded with <br /> said Deeds in Book 5232 , Pane 561 and to execute. ; acknowledge <br /> and deliver a proper deed, deeds or other documents for that <br /> purpose. <br /> Article 4. To see if the Town will vote to authorize the <br /> transfer of the following funds : <br /> From <br /> School Construction (Adams Addition) - $79.97 to School Construction. <br /> High School Addition: <br /> From School Construction (Franklin) - $274.50 to School Construction <br /> High School Addition: <br /> From Waltham Street Damages - $109.00 to Excess and <br /> Deficiency Account. <br /> or act in any manner relating thereto . <br /> Article 5 . To see if the Town will vote to authorize the Selectmen <br /> to furnish a new Town Seal bearing thereon a replica of the <br /> Lexington Minute-Man Statue, and appropriate money for the <br /> expense of furnishing such seal and reproductions of same . <br /> Article 6. To see if the Town will vote or ratify and confirm <br /> the action of the Board of Selectmen, acting as a Board of <br /> Health, in constructing a sewer in Woburn Street , from the <br /> main outlet a distance of approximately 180 feet northeasterly, <br /> and appropriate funds for said construction or act in any manner <br /> relating thereto. <br /> Article 7 . To see if the Town will vote to place in the control <br /> of the Board of Selectmen, acting as a Board of Park Commissioners , <br /> the following described parcel of land, now a part of the highway <br /> the same to be known as "Somerset Road Park" : <br /> An elongated parcel of land located entirely within <br /> the boundaries of Somerset Road, beginning at a -point <br /> about opposite Franklin Road and extending northeast- <br /> erly toward Hayes Avenue approximately 250 feet and having <br /> a width of about 35 feet. <br /> Article 8. To see if the Town will vote to rescind the vote <br />
