312 <br /> Cl <br /> TOWN WARRANT <br /> tO <br /> Commonwealth of Massachusetts Middlesex , ss . <br /> To either of the Constables of the Town of Lexington , <br /> in said County , Greeting : <br /> In the name of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts <br /> you are directed to notify the inhabitants of the Town <br /> of Lexington , qualified to vote in elections and in <br /> town affairs to meet in the <br /> CARY MEMORIAL BUILDING , in said Lexington , on <br /> Monday, the sixteenth day of December , 1929 , at 8 P . M . <br /> Art . 1 . To receive the report of any Board of Town <br /> Officers or of any Committee of the Town , and to apnoin_t <br /> other Committees . <br /> Art . 2 . To see if the Town will amend Article III , sec . 2 <br /> of the Code of By- laws of 1922 of the Town of Lexington <br /> by striking out the same and inserting in place thereof <br /> the following : <br /> " Section 2 . The warrant for a town meeting shall <br /> be served by posting a printed copy thereof on the bulletin <br /> board in the Town Office Building and in such other public <br /> places in the town , if any , as the Selectmen may designate , <br /> seven days at least before the time stated in the warrant <br /> for holding such meeting , by publishing once in the Lex- <br /> ington Times -Minute -Man one dat at least before the time <br /> stated to the warrant for holding such meeting, if the <br /> selectmen so designate , and also , whenever the warrant <br /> contains any article on which all registered voters have <br /> the right to vote under Chapter 215 of the Acts of 1929 , by <br /> sending by mail , postage prepaid , not less than seven <br /> days before the time stated in the warrant for holding <br /> such meetin ' , a printed cppy of such warrant addressed to <br /> every registered voter of the town at his last residence <br /> as appears from the records of the Board of Registrars <br /> of Voters , provided however , that no action taken at the <br /> meeting shall be inbalidated by reason of any mistake or <br /> omission by the officer or person serving the warrant <br /> to mail a copy thereof to every registered voter . " <br /> Art . 3 . To see if the Town will amend Article III , <br /> sec . 5 of the Code of By- laws of 1922 of t: he Town of <br /> Lexington by striking out all after the first sentence <br /> and inserting in place thereof the following : <br /> " Immediately upon the announcement of the result <br /> of the voting the meeting shall stand adjourned until <br /> such time and at such place as shall be set forth by <br /> the selectmen in the warrant for the meeting . " <br /> Art . 4 . To see if the Town will amend in any respect <br /> Article III , Sections 2 and 5 of the Code of By- laws <br /> of 1922 of the Town of Lexington to make them conform <br /> to Chapter 215 of the Acts of 1929 relating to rep - <br /> resentative town meetings in the Town of Lexington . <br /> Art . 5 . To see if the Town will amend Article 30 of <br /> the Code of By- laws of 1922 by adding thereto the <br /> following section : <br /> " Section 3 . Before any license for any dog shall <br /> be issued under General Laws , Chapter 140 , section 137 , <br /> the aoplicant for such license shall file with the Town <br /> Clerk a certificate signed by a reputable veterinarian , <br /> stating that he has administered Rabies Vaccine to said <br />
