MIDLESEX, SS . <br /> To either of the Constables of the Town of Lexington , in said <br /> County , Greeting ; <br /> In the name of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts you are <br /> directed to notify the inhabitants of. the Town of Lexington , qualified <br /> to vote in elections and in town affairs to meet in the Town hall , <br /> in said Lexington , on <br /> MONDAY; THE SIXTH DAY OF DECEMBER , A . D . 1926 , <br /> at Eight o ' clock P . M . , then and there to act on the following articles : <br /> Art . 1 . To receive the report of any Board of Town Officers or of. <br /> any Committee of the Town , and to appoint other . Committees . <br /> Art . 2 . To see if the Town will vote to transfer sums of money from <br /> General Revenue and Surplus Account to the following accounts : Law ; <br /> Assessors ; Other r' inance Officals and Accounts ; Insurance ; Forest Fires ; <br /> Interest ; Accountant ; Highway Constructi -m ; Highway Maintenance ; and <br /> Vine Brook Drainage . <br /> Art . 3 . To see if the Town will accept the gift of premises at <br /> 516 Massachusetts Avenue conveyed to the Town by deed of Frerler t ck H . <br /> Rindge , dated April 29 , 1885 , or take any action relative thereto . <br /> Art . 4 . To see if the Town will authorize the Selectmen to lease <br /> or otherwise provide for the use of the premises at 516 Massachusetts <br /> Avenue , Lexington , conveyed to the Town by deed of Frederick H . Rindge <br /> dated April 29 , 1885 , or take any other action relating thereto . <br /> Art . 5 . To see if the Town will authorize Its proper officers to <br /> execute in its name and on its behalf the release and waiver of claims <br /> for damages with respect to the establishment of a building line on <br /> the northeasterly side of Massachusetts Avenue from the northwesterly <br /> line of the Town hall lot to Woburn Street and thence along the north- <br /> easterly side of said Woburn Street to Fletcher Avenue . <br /> Art . 6 . To see if the Town will establish building lines on Massachu - <br /> setts Avenue from the northwesterly line of the Town Hall lot to <br /> Woburn Street and thence along the northeasterly side of said Woburn <br /> Street to Fletcher Avenue , or accept building lines on the said street <br /> established or laid out by the Board of Selectmen as shown in a layout <br /> filed in the office of the Town Clerk or act in any other manner in <br /> relation thereto . <br /> Art . 7 . To see if the Town will authorize the bchool Committee to <br /> enclose the present stairways of the Hancock School Building in accord- <br /> ance with the regulations of the State Department of Public Safety <br /> and provide money for the same either by the transfer of unexpended <br /> balances or by the issuing of notes or bonds , or act in any manner <br /> in relation thereto . <br /> Art . 8 . To see if the Town will vote to appropriate the sum of <br /> $360 . 00 to pay the damages allowed by the County Commissioners in the <br /> decree for the widening of North nancock Street dated October 9 , 1923 , <br /> and to provide for same by transfer from General Revenue and Suplus <br /> Account , or act in any manner relating thereto . <br /> Art . 9 . To see if the Town will vote to instruct the Selectmen to <br /> furnish snow plow service in the following unaccepted streets : Balfour <br /> Street ; barbell Street ; Manning Street ; Laconia Street ; Bertwell Road ; <br /> Dexter Road ; Harding Road ; Simonds Hoad ; Dee Road ; Gleason Road : <br /> Fuller Road .' <br />
