RECEIVED zz 25 Feb, 9:07 am Minutes of the Community Preservation Committee January 20, 2022 TOS WN CLERK Remote Zoom Meeting LEXINGTON Meeting ID: 84428737946 4:00 p.m. Committee Members Present by Roll Call: Marilyn Fenollosa (Chair),joined the meeting at 4:09 p.m., Charles Hornig (Vice-Chair,) David Horton,Jeanne Krieger, David Langseth, Joe Pato, Robert Pressman, Lisah Rhodes and Melinda Walker Other Attendees: David Kanter(Capital Expenditures Committee Liaison), Carolyn Kosnoff,Assistant Town Manager for Finance Mr. Hornig called the meeting to order at 4:08 p.m. Ms. Fenollosa was present by phone and assumed the chair when her internet connection was restored at 4:14 p.m. CPA Fund Requests—Debt Service Adjustment Ms. Kosnoff explained that a BAN will be issued for the principal and interest on two projects authorized in 2014 to be paid by debt and completed in 2021. Community Center Renovation $30,427 for installation of a standing sign Cary Memorial Building Renovation $38,608 for a portion of the Center Streetscape Sidewalk Accordingly, the FY2023 Debt Service has been increased by$69,034. The Committee voted by a roll call vote to recommend to the annual meeting the revised debt schedule of a total of$1,935,635. (9-0). Vynebrooke Village Preservation Project A revised project application for the Vynebrooke Village Preservation Project, submitted by Caileen Foley, Executive Director of the Lexington Housing Authority,was considered.The amount of the request was reduced to eliminate wetlands mitigation work of questionable eligibility, associated with improving drainage necessary for preserving the buildings.The resulting funding request of$160,790 is for fire safety improvements.
