RECEIVED <br /> zz 25 Feb, 9:07 am <br /> Minutes of the Community Preservation Committee <br /> January 20, 2022 TOS <br /> WN CLERK <br /> Remote Zoom Meeting LEXINGTON <br /> Meeting ID: 84428737946 <br /> 4:00 p.m. <br /> Committee Members Present by Roll Call: Marilyn Fenollosa (Chair),joined the meeting at 4:09 p.m., <br /> Charles Hornig (Vice-Chair,) David Horton,Jeanne Krieger, David Langseth, Joe Pato, Robert Pressman, <br /> Lisah Rhodes and Melinda Walker <br /> Other Attendees: David Kanter(Capital Expenditures Committee Liaison), Carolyn Kosnoff,Assistant <br /> Town Manager for Finance <br /> Mr. Hornig called the meeting to order at 4:08 p.m. Ms. Fenollosa was present by phone and assumed <br /> the chair when her internet connection was restored at 4:14 p.m. <br /> CPA Fund Requests—Debt Service Adjustment <br /> Ms. Kosnoff explained that a BAN will be issued for the principal and interest on two projects authorized <br /> in 2014 to be paid by debt and completed in 2021. <br /> Community Center Renovation $30,427 <br /> for installation of a standing sign <br /> Cary Memorial Building Renovation $38,608 <br /> for a portion of the Center Streetscape Sidewalk <br /> Accordingly, the FY2023 Debt Service has been increased by$69,034. <br /> The Committee voted by a roll call vote to recommend to the annual meeting the revised debt schedule <br /> of a total of$1,935,635. (9-0). <br /> Vynebrooke Village Preservation Project <br /> A revised project application for the Vynebrooke Village Preservation Project, submitted by Caileen <br /> Foley, Executive Director of the Lexington Housing Authority,was considered.The amount of the <br /> request was reduced to eliminate wetlands mitigation work of questionable eligibility, associated with <br /> improving drainage necessary for preserving the buildings.The resulting funding request of$160,790 is <br /> for fire safety improvements. <br /> The Committee voted by a roll call vote to recommend to the annual meeting the revised project(9-0). <br /> CPA Warrant Article FY23 Projects <br />
