Mike suggested that we use a letter to the Select Board to <br /> promote the roundabout and support it to help it get approved. <br /> Dave - I'm in favor of a roundabout because it's a safer for cars and <br /> less idling for the environment <br /> Other points discussed: <br /> • It was agreed that as LBAC should stick to the biking aspects of <br /> this roundabout and not write about the pedestrian aspects. <br /> • Traffic lights not good for bikers turning left <br /> • A roundabout can be good but not a great improvement for bikers <br /> • A traffic light would be awful for Battle Green experience <br />
