RECEIVED Town Celebrations Committee 2022 15 Ila,4�:5 1 'ri Meeting Minutes May 19,2021 TOWN CLERK Virtual Meeting LEXENGTON MA Members Present June Baer, Chair-, Suzanne Caton,Steve Cole,Linda Dixon,Yifang Gong,Vivek Gupta, Mary Hutton,Cerise Jallelian,Gresh Lattimore,Sondra Lucente, Lorain Marquis, Bill Mix,Geetha Padaki,Sandy Podgorski, Members Not Present Glen Bassett,Wei Ding,Aneesha Karody,Samita Mandellia,Julie Miller,Wayne Miller, Rita Pandey,Ashley Rooney,Sue Stering,John Wu,Sam Zales, Guests: Gina Rada Business: • June convened the meeting at 7:05 pm;and read the Town notice regarding the conduct of public virtual meetings, • The committee approved the minutes of May 12,2021. Memorial Day 2021 • June reported that Lex Media has scheduled the broadcast of the TCC video at 10 am and I pm on Memorial Day. • Mary Hutton asked if it would be possible to get a podium and teleprompter for the speakers on the video.Steve Cole noted that Jim Hollister from the National Park Service was willing to loan his teleprompter but someone from:TCC will have to contact Jim to learn how to use it, • Geetha will create a production spreadsheet for the video. • Gina volunteered to get a map of the Civil War graves at Munroe Cemetery from Jen at Westview Cemetery. • Sandy, Lorain,and Gina volunteered to help Mary lay flowers on the Civil War graves in Munroe Cemetery on 5/30. • Lorain will ask Bob Tracey and Wayne Miller if they want to lay the wreaths at the monuments for Memorial Day, as they have done in the past. • Gina noted that 2240 veterans are buried at Westview Cemetery and about 150 veterans are buried at Munroe Cemetery. • June will send out an email to all TCC members about the time and location of the filming on 5/22. June reminded the committee that new officers will be elected at the June 9 meeting.
