Call to Order—HPB Subcommittee on Land Acquisition Proposal <br /> The meeting was called to order by Betsey Weiss at 7:03 pm. Minutes were taken by Harriet <br /> Cohen. <br /> 2. Housing Partnership Board (HPB) Recommendations to the Planning and Select Boards <br /> The subcommittee discussed whether to recommend to the Planning and Select Boards that the <br /> Housing component of the Comprehensive Plan include a strategy to ensure that discussion of <br /> potential Town land acquisitions include possible uses for affordable housing.The <br /> subcommittee agreed that such a recommendation should be made. Ms. Cohen said she would <br /> draft a letter to the Planning and Select Boards with that recommendation. The subcommittee <br /> will review the letter at its next meeting prior to discussion with the full HPB. <br /> The subcommittee also discussed an HPB submission of a letter to the Select Board regarding <br /> land acquisition policy. Specifically, the subcommittee discussed a letter to inform the Select <br /> Board that the HPB is planning to submit a draft policy for Town land acquisitions to the Select <br /> Board.The first step in creating the policy is to contact the CPA stakeholders to discuss a policy <br /> with them. Ms. Cohen said she would draft a letter on this subject for discussion at the next <br /> subcommittee meeting prior to review with the full HPB. <br /> 3. Set Next Meeting <br /> The next meeting will be on January 25, 2022 at 7:00 pm. <br /> 4. Adjourn Meeting <br /> Ms. Cohen moved adjournment and Ms. Weiss seconded the motion.The motion passed <br /> unanimously. <br />
