Meeting Minutes—October 20,2021 <br /> Lisah Rhodes moved to approve the minutes from the October 20'meeting. Lisa O'Brien <br /> seconded the motion. The Recreation Committee voted 4-0-1 to approve the October 20 <br /> minutes. <br /> 2. Public Comment—None <br /> 3. Liaison Reports <br /> The November 2021 Liaison Reports are attached to the meeting minutes. <br /> 4. Fall Field Use and Diamond Parking—Tim Clackson/LUSC <br /> Tim Clackson,resident of 14 Winthrop Road and Vice President of Logistics for the Lexington <br /> United Soccer Club(LUSC),referenced the letter that was submitted to the Committee on <br /> September 29, 2021. A copy of the letter is attached to the meeting minutes. While he was <br /> representing LUSC, Mr. Clackson explained that he was speaking more broadly on behalf of the <br /> Lexington-based youth sports organizations. Mr. Clackson highlighted a few of the concerns that <br /> LUSC encountered during the Fall 2021 season. One concern was an increase in the primetime <br /> field crunch,which is weekdays from 5:30-8:30pm, specifically due to LHS Athletics games <br /> going late due to changes in how officials are being assigned. LUSC documented seven <br /> occurrences when Lincoln 92 was permitted to LHS Athletics on weekdays between 5:30- <br /> 8:30pm,which is when that field is typically permitted to LUSC. Another concern was the late <br /> ending of LHS Athletics events,which was often not communicated ahead of time and was <br /> attributed to the later school start time and travel time for opponents. Mr. Clackson stated that <br /> during the fall, there were four times when LUSC had late access to Lincoln 93 and at least four <br />
