RECEIVED <br /> 2021 29 IIMov, IpuiT°m <br /> COMPREHENSIVE PLAN ADVISORY COMMITTEE TOWN CLERK <br /> MEETING MINUTES LEXINGTON MA <br /> May 11th, 2021 <br /> The Comprehensive Plan Advisory Committee (CPAC) meeting, held virtually through Zoom, <br /> began at 7:13 pm but was not called to order due to a lack of a quorum. The CPAC held the <br /> meeting and omitted all voting matters until a complete quorum was in attendance. <br /> CPAC Members Present: Sarah Felton, Co-Chair; Chris Herbert, Co-Chair; Matt Daggett; Deepak <br /> Amenani; Hema Bhatt; Larry Freeman; and Leonard Morse-Fortier <br /> CPAC Liaisons Present: Bob Creech, Liaison of the Planning Board; Melanie Thompson, Liaison <br /> of the Planning Board; Mark Sandeen, Liaison of the Select Board <br /> Staff Members present: Carol Kowalski, Assistant Town Manager for Development; Amanda <br /> Loomis, Planning Director; Molly Belanger, Land Use Planner <br /> Consultants Present: Daphne Politis, Community Circle, Martha Lyon, Martha Lyon Landscape <br /> Architecture <br /> I. Meeting Opening <br /> Sarah Felton, Co-chair, call the meeting to order. Ms. Felton reminded CPAC <br /> Members and meeting attendees that no votes would occur until a quorum was <br /> reached. <br /> II. Summary of April 6th, 2021 Meeting Discussion of Land Use Trend Report Drafts <br /> Daphne Politis, Community Circle, Project Co-Lead, provided a brief review of Land <br /> Use. <br /> III. Public Outreach <br /> Ms. Politis introduced the upcoming public forum on June 15th, where project Co- <br /> Leads will compile public input. Amanda Loomis, Planning Director, gave an update <br /> on the LexingtonNext website, which Stantec will redesign. The website update will <br /> include the capability for collecting public input. Ms. Politis also discussed upcoming <br /> stakeholder interviews of various community organizations and committees. <br /> IV. Discussion of Public Facilities Trend Report Draft <br /> Ms. Politis and Martha Lyon, Martha Lyon Landscape Architecture, Co-Lead, began a <br /> facilitated discussion of Public Facilities. The CPAC participated in this discussion by <br /> reviewing key issues, challenges, opportunities, existing patterns, future trends, and <br /> long and short-term effects of COVID-19. <br /> 1 <br />
