Presentation by Mr. Charles Horning of Planning Board—Comprehensive Planning <br /> Presentation will be on Wednesday, September 22—see town calendar. <br /> Mr. Hornig presented on several Planning Board zoning initiatives that will help <br /> increase diversity, equity, and inclusion in Lexington housing. For more information <br /> visit the Planning Board webpage. <br /> Committee members gave their support for this work and encouraged the <br /> Planning Board to let the LHRC know how we can be supportive. <br /> Public Comment— Please attend the—Comprehensive Plan meeting, September2l. <br /> 7. No Hate November Update <br /> The program will focus on looking at the unique gifts and challenges of having <br /> multiple marginalized identities and will include information about Intersectionality. <br /> We are looking for additional community members for this workgroup. <br /> 8. Workgroups <br /> a. Workgroup with Commission On Disabilities on Impact of COVID on <br /> Persons with Disabilities <br /> MDR volunteered to Chair this group. <br /> SH moved to form a joint workgroup with the COD on the Impact of COVIDon <br /> Persons with Disabilities; MI second - approved unanimously <br /> b. Racial Disparities in Lexington <br /> Committee discussed whether this should this be a standing <br /> subcommittee rather than a workgroup? <br /> SB moved that LHRC form a standing subcommittee on Racial Disparities in <br /> Lexington; FY second - approved unanimously <br /> 9. Thanking Outgoing members <br /> 10. Chair Report <br /> 11. Updates from Members <br /> Committee members gave updates regarding meetings attended or planned. <br /> 12.
