The ACROSS page is not finished - a new map is still needed <br />to complete the site. We need to check that the URL still works with the QR codes and fix it if <br />it doesn’t. <br />• Ruth Rose was very appreciative of the gift certificate to Artistry on the Green. Thank you, <br />Susan, for taking care of that. <br />Ongoing Business <br />: <br />Route E needs a few more signs. Keith has hardware and will complete soon. <br />Our next meeting is February 1, making brochure printing for spring tight. Keith and Susan <br />will work on the funding and brochure content/layout. <br />Mike is working on an “office map” to correlate with the brochure map. There was discussion <br />of how to get maps to people and people to maps. How many paper maps do we need? How <br />easy is digital access? <br />Discussion of loop routes versus connectors. It was generally agreed that loops are prefera- <br />ble, but there will be some connectors, as too many overlapping loops would be confusing. <br />Also, route letters should go on the arrow signs, not the logos, in most instances. <br />Discussion of signage for ACROSS routes. What should be signed? Parking? Schools? Con- <br />servation properties? Directional guidance? Should we tell you where you might be going as <br />well as where you are now? <br />Mike had examples of proposed Steward signage that will be rolled out on Whipple Hill and <br />eventually expanded to other Conservation trails. <br />For homework, think about signage options - where, what <br />New Business: <br />• none at this time <br />Next Meeting <br />: February 1, 2016, 4:30-6:00pm, DPW Training Room <br />Future meeting dates: February 29, March 28, April 25, May 23, June 27 <br />Future Agenda Items: <br />- <br />Certification of ACROSS Lexington Completion program update - Gil Benghiat <br />- <br />Easement/Town Access Project <br /> <br />
