LexHAB Meeting Minutes August 11,2021-7:00 am—Conducted via Zoom. Call to Order A meeting of the Lexington Housing Assistance Board (LexHAB)was called to order at 7:22 am. LexHAB members present were Bob Burbidge (Chair), Lester Savage (Vice Chair), Bill Kennedy, Gerry Howell,Tara Mizrahi. LexHAB members Henry Liu, Donna Leary and Robert Phelan were absent. Also, present were Pearlene Varjabedian (LexHAB Housing Director), Regina Brown (LexHAB Financial Administrator), Bob Pressman (Housing Partnership Board. Minutes review of July 7 Meeting Motion to accept meeting minutes-all in favor Tenant Selection Plan Discussion—Postponed Vine Street Discussion Lester Savage reviewed Vine Street updates. • Test pits dug to see water levels • Will probably schedule a meeting with the neighbors in mid-September • Wetland study conducted and it seemed to go fine FINANCIAL REVIEW Gerry Howell reviewed • P & L six-month statement—comparing 20 to 21 and other income • LexHAB B accounting—discussion regarding transition Regina and Karen • Discussion took place regarding if we are building replacement revenue • Solar program was reviewed • Repairs and Maintenance reviewed—next month 10-year expenditures will be reviewed • Bob Pressman inquired about the 110K from the Affordable Housing Trust for renovations. Regina reviewed this program usage. • Cash position review • Bob Pressman — discussed CPA Grant and LEXHAB again seeking funds to use from CPC Annual deadline is before November 1 • Tara Mizrahi—this should be discussed at next meeting Marketing Initiative Reviewed • Survey is being launched and discussed present activities Executive Director Position • No possible candidates at this point Task Force Updates • Solar Power Development will be discussed at next meeting • Ten-year Repair and Maintenance expenditures will be discussed at next meeting Grove Street reviewed • Tenants occupying home at present. • Lester to forward photos and video to Website
