TOWN OF LEXINGTON, MASSACHUSETTS <br /> CONSERVATION COMMISSION <br /> MINUTES <br /> Monday, October 5t'2015 <br /> 6:30 P.M. <br /> Parker Room, Town Office Building <br /> 1625 Massachusetts Avenue <br /> Chair Philip Hamilton opened the meeting at 6:33 pm in the Parker Room of the Town Office Building. <br /> Commissioners Present: Kevin Beuttell,Phil Hamilton, Alex Dohan, Dick Wolk, David Langseth (6:33 <br /> pm). <br /> Others Present: Karen Mullins, Conservation Administrator, Casey Hagerty, Conservation Department <br /> Assistant <br /> Pending Matters <br /> 6:33pm <br /> Tree Removal Standards Discussion <br /> Mr. Beuttell explained that he felt the commission needed standardized method for dealing with tree <br /> replacement. He told the commission some of the research he has done so far and explained that more <br /> needs to be done. <br /> 6:41pm <br /> Plan Change <br /> Richard Chan, owner <br /> 4 Lake Street <br /> Mr. Chan stated that he wished to modify the existing approved plan for work on his home at 4 <br /> Lake Street. He explained that he wants to add two sets of stairs to the porch as well as a bay <br /> window. He told the commission that the porch already has an infiltration system. His plan <br /> would also include invasive species removal. <br /> Comments and concerns from the Commission: <br /> The commission stated that they typically do not accept informal plan changes that are within the <br /> 50 foot buffer zone. They stated they would want a formal Amendment Proposal <br />
