Maybe a policy regarding
guidelines would be helpful down the road. Tanya suggested that if we were sending out an e-mail
to all of the entries in the parade, it might be helpful to reinforce the restriction of not passing
anything out to the crowds along the way. This includes passing out any food.
* Lorain told the group that Mahoney's had sent in an application. The group voted to approve their
entry into the parade, though late, because they have been in the previous parades and they do not
charge a fee.
* Sondra asked for the names of the floats to be judged.
* Charlie went over the jacket orders. Everyone should wear their tricorn hat.
*Saturday the Old Guard arrives at approximately 11:30. Lorain and rick will be on the Green at
11:00. About 6 people were needed.
*Rick will meet Wayne & Bob at St. Brigid's on Monday at 3:30 a.m. Everyone else should be at
the Green about 5:00a.m. Wrist band people should be there at 4:45 a.m..
* After the re-enactment everyone should assemble at the entrance to the Munroe Cemetery by
7:00a.m. The parade will leave after the Minutemen begin the procession at 7:30. There will be a
ceremony on the Green. This will end at approximately 9:00 a.m.
* Lorain asked who needed name tags. Tickets for the a.m. reviewing stand should be 25 and 40 for
the afternoon. 75 seats will be needed for the bleachers in the afternoon.
* Lorain and Rich listened to some suggestions for parade roster changes. There seemed to be too
many bands near or next to each other.
* The TCC members put all of the stake numbers into plastic sleeves in chronological order.
* Paul passed out the 2 way radios and explained how to use them. Each person in a golf cart will
have a radio. There will be 10 carts and 12 radios.
