<br />PLANNING BOARD MINUTES <br />MEETING OF MARCH 9, 2015 <br /> <br />A meeting of the Lexington Planning Board, held in the Selectmen’s Meeting Room, was called <br />to order at 7:01 p.m. by Chairman Charles Hornig, with members Richard Canale, Timothy <br />Dunn, and Ginna Johnson present. Nancy Corcoran-Ronchetti was absent. <br /> <br />The Board immediately moved to the Planning Office in order to continue their meeting. <br /> <br />******************************ZONING ARTICLES***************************** <br /> <br />Article 47 - Med. Marijuana: <br />Mr. Hornig felt that the sentence with the recommended motion of the Planning Board was <br />ambiguous in terms of what the minority had voted. He proposed language to indicate that the <br />minority wished to have Town Meeting defeat the article. Mr. Hornig explained that we would <br />th <br />re-vote board positions at the meeting on the 18. <br /> <br />Article 48 - Commercial District Lines: <br />Ms. Johnson felt that it was important to explain that there were no changes moving an existing <br />residential use to commercial district. Mr. Hornig felt that there are three cases we decided not to <br />make a change because there was not a consensus in community or on the board. <br /> <br />Mr. Hornig will present only one change at TMMA and was considering Bedford & Reed or <br />Waltham & Marrett. <br /> <br />Article 49 - Governmental/Civic Use District: <br />Ms. Johnson discussed her changes to the report including proposing that the district name be <br />hyphenated as “Governmental-Civic Use” to avoid confusion. Board members discussed the <br />name of the district briefly. Ms. Johnson discussed further changes to the structure of the report. <br /> <br />Article 50 - CM District, Waltham Line near Route 128/I95: <br />Ms. Johnson proposed changes to make the language more factual. Mr. Hornig proposed to <br />adjust the table showing calculations of the net square footage to make clear that the un-zoned <br /> <br />
