We have carefully reviewed the plans
presented to us by the architect, Don Mills, of Mills Whitaker Architects. The Commission is
pleased that the plans include ways to make all areas accessible by creatively linking floors by an
elevator installation as well as paying attention to all entrances and parking. The solution
proposed for the back entrance of an inclined wheelchair ramp and lift also meets our approval.
The Commission is pleased to be able to support this project that embraces the spirit of
accessibility in making public and private buildings feel welcome to all. Please feel free to
contact me if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
Victoria Buckley
Cell phone 617-997-5472
vbuckley@rcn.com
Cc: Garry Rhodes, Building Commissioner, Town of Lexington
Linda Vine, Assistant Town Manager/ADA Coordinator, Town of Lexington
Don Mills, Mills Whitaker Architects, PO Box 750089, Arlington, MA 02475
1625 MASSACHUSETTS AVENUE • LEXINGTON, MASSACHUSETTS 02420
