<br />Commission on Disability <br />Minutes of Meeting on May 1, 2014 <br />In Attendance: <br /> Victoria Buckley, Chair, Linda Vine, Assistant Town Manger and ADA Coordinator, <br />Fred Lonardo, new Building Commissioner, Joe Pato, Selectman, Janet Perry, Julie Miller, Len <br />Morse-Fortier, Harry MacKay, and Sue Cusack <br />Introduction of new Building Commissioner Fred Lonardo <br />Approval of last monthÔs minutes <br /> <br />Discussion from SelectmenÔs Meeting concerning Ñbrick for walkway in front of Cary <br />Memorial BuildingÒ - Commission will write a letter to the Selectmen about goals for sidewalks Ï <br />that they need to consider more than esthetics, i.e., also needs. There needs to be a total cost and <br />ownership review. Joe Pato said HDC has no jurisdiction over pathways. <br />Discussion about Bridge PTAÔs Legacy Brick fundraiser Ï Len will reach out to discuss the use <br />of bricks at Bridge for the fundraiser. <br /> <br />New business: <br />Discussion about snow policy – <br />we need to discuss with Bill Hadley about the need <br />to include keeping lifts and parking spaces free of snow. <br />Community Center Advisory Committee – <br />Len will discuss ramp issues with them. <br />Busa Wine & Spirits parking – <br />being resolved. <br />DCU back lift – <br />being resolved. <br />
