<br />Commission on Disability <br />Minutes of Meeting on April 3, 2014 <br />In Attendance: <br />Victoria Buckley, Chair, Linda Vine, Assistant Town Manager and ADA Coordinator, <br />Janet Perry, Julie Miller, Len Morse-Fortier, Francine Stieglitz, and Sue Cusack <br />Approval of last monthÔs minutes plus FebruaryÔs <br /> <br /> <br />Updates on the new Lexington Community Center, especially the proposed fitness area Ï <br />Commission wants to see integrated, inclusive spaces as opposed to separate sensory space. <br /> <br />Continued discussion about Center Streetscape project Ï public meetings have been attended <br />by members of Commission and concerns about sidewalk materials and HP parking spaces are being <br />heard. <br /> <br />Update on Cary Hall Ï discussion of final renovation plans Ï renovation plans include increased <br />accessibility to all areas of the hall and inclusion in all rooms is being carefully and appropriately <br />designed. <br /> <br />Additional new business and update on new projects Ï new Building Commissioner is being <br />hired and will be starting in late May. <br />
