<br />September17,2014 <br />BobCunha,ChairmanoftheLexingtonRetirementBoardhasaskedthatfollowingstatementand <br />attachedfundingscheduleenteredontotheTownwebsite. <br />ThePublicEmployeeRetirementAdministrationCommissionwhichhasoversightoverallthe <br />MassachusettsPublicPensionSystemshaspublishedareportonthefundingradiosofthe <br />pensionfunds. <br />TheLexingtonRetirementBoardisproudtoprovidethefollowingreportwhichshowsour <br />systemtobethethirdhighestfundedradioofanytownintheCommonwealth. <br />Thesystemhasunequivocallymetthechallengesrisingfromthedevastatingcollapseofthe <br />therecentstatutorychanges. <br />capitalmarkets,theensuingslowdownoftheeconomyand <br />TheRetirementboardtakesgreatprideinhavingbalancedtheneedtoensurethatliabilities <br />areaddressedwiththefactthattownresourcesmustmeetavarietyofneeds.Theboard͸s <br />professionalmanagementofassetshasleadtolongrangereturnswhichsupportsthatthe <br />retirementboardhasresponsiblymanagedthesystemsassets. <br />
