Minutes May 27, 2014 <br />Committee present — David Williams, Chairman, Cindy Kuech1e, Brian Kelley, Joanne Shorter, <br />Lynne Wilson <br />The Chairman opened the meeting at 7:30. The first item onthe agenda was a discussion ofthe <br />bathroom opening and who should beon the list nfinvitees. David and Cindy will address and mail the <br />invitations. David has ordered 1UOinvitations. The program will include welcoming comments and a <br />brief history wf the park and bathrooms. Brian Kelley will then thank the donors and especially the <br />Lexington Lions Club members, Dick Perry, Alan Wrigley and Doug Luoente. Lynne and Brian will unveil <br />the plaque. The opening has been rescheduled for June 17 at7pm. <br />Brian said that the irrigation is not yet turned on and will be needed for the landscaping at the <br />Joanne told the group that Lexington Youth Soccer wants to install astorage shed. The Committee <br />discussed the request but agreed that the Recreation Committee should make this decision. It will bea <br />problem if all sports groups request a storage bin or shed. <br />The Minutes of April 28 were read and corrected. They were approved asamended. Lynne will make <br />the changes before they are submitted. <br />There was some discussion of Across Lexington, but no decisions were made. <br />The meeting was adjourned at 8:20. <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />Lynne W-fl-son- <br />
