<br />PUBLIC MEETING NOTICE <br />HISTORIC DISTRICT COMMISSION <br />Minutes of Thursday, June 5, 2014, Selectmen Meeting Room, Town Hall Building at 7:00PM <br />Commissioners present: Joseph Welch, Chairman, Lynn Hopkins, Paul Ross, and Daniel Griffin <br />Associate Commissioners: Marilyn Fenollosa, Jon Wardwell, B. Feldman, B. McCarthy <br />Department Clerk: Linda Rainville <br /> <br /> <br />7:00 PM <br />1912 Massachusetts Avenue <br />: Joan Rudila, spoke with the Commission regarding the <br />landscaping around the transformer to provide screening. The foliage will be planted as soon as <br />the irrigation system is repaired. <br />All in Favor <br />2014C- <br />Wendall Kalsow presented plans to replace windows in the back of the building. The details of <br />the windows are similar to those on the second floor. And a request to replace the protective <br />glazing on the stained glass to clear glass. The commission approved the protective glass on the <br />stained glass window. Mr. Kalsow will come back with new plans for the replacement <br />windows. <br />All in Favor <br />2014C <br />Cynthia Theriault presented plans for paving, re-striping the parking lot. They will move the gate <br />on the fence, a new curb and landscaping as per documentation.. <br />All in Favor <br />2014C- <br />7:05 PM <br />1444 Massachusetts Avenue: <br />Gloria Wallace showed the Commission her plans for repainting <br />her home. Paint colors are as follows: Shingles – Yellow (custom blend), Shutters – PM-12 <br />Black Forest Greet, Door and Window sashes – PM-18 Heritage Red, Trim – White, Porch Floor <br />– Medium Gray. <br />All in Favor <br />2014C- <br />7:10 PM <br />15 Meriam Street: <br />Robert Sacco presented plans to replace his stockade fence with a new flat- <br />top stockade fence and post cap. <br />All in Favor <br />2014C- <br />7:15 PM <br />848 Massachusetts Avenue: <br />Jim Barr spoke with the Commission regarding the awning <br />already installed at his business location. The Commission asked that when the awning needs to <br />be replaced that Mr. Barr bring in drawings showing the scale of the lettering. <br />All in Favor <br />2014C- <br /> <br />
