<br />PLANNING BOARD MINUTES <br />MEETING OF APRIL 23, 2014 <br /> <br />A regular meeting of the Lexington Planning Board, held in the Selectmen’s Meeting Room, was <br />called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Chairman Charles Hornig, with members Nancy Corcoran- <br />Ronchetti, Richard Canale, and Timothy Dunn and planning staff Maryann McCall-Taylor, Aaron <br />Henry, and Lori Kaufman present. Greg Zurlo joined the meeting in progress <br /> <br />**********************DEVELOPMENT ADMINISTRATION*********************** <br />28-34 Robinson Road, ANR endorsement: <br />This plan was previously endorsed on March 26, 2014, but the lawyers are insisting on a little <br />more notation on the lot dimensions. <br /> <br />On a motion duly made and seconded, it was voted, 4-0, to endorse the special permit mylars as <br /> <br />they would not require approval under subdivision control. <br /> <br />*********************************MINUTES ************************************ <br />On a motion duly made and seconded, it was voted, 4-0, to accept as distributed the minutes for <br />April 7, 2014. <br /> <br />***************************OTHER MATTERS*********************************** <br />Board of Selectmen Goal Setting: <br /> <br />The Board discussed the items that they would like to see the Board of Selectmen consider as <br />they set their goals for the next two years. Many were carried over from last year and were either <br />ongoing or have not yet been undertaken. The Board suggested the following items: <br /> <br /> Implementation Plan for the Hartwell Avenue TMOD. Continue work to advance this <br />project through the funding labyrinth while undertaking more immediate projects that <br />can be done by the Town. Safe crossings and sidewalks at the Hartwell/Bedford <br />intersection should be a top priority. <br /> <br /> Development of a town policy on active/liveable/complete streets considering <br />accessibility for walkers and bicyclists in addition to motor vehicles. The Planning <br />Board is requesting the Selectmen take a leadership role and endorse an initiative to set <br />specific goals and standards as well as pursue certification as an Active Street <br />Community. <br /> <br />
