Appendix B Summary of Changes 12-19-2012 Draft to Motion dated March 13t", 2013 A draft Zoning Bylaw was published for public comment on December 19, 2012. Based on input through March 12, 2012, the Planning Board revised the Bylaw, creating a version dated March 13, 2013 to be put forward to Town Meeting for acceptance. The Zoning Bylaw, dated March 13, 2013, contains the following changes from the December 19, 2012 version: 1. Corrected various spelling, grammatical, formatting, and line numbering errors. 2. Add language to 3.3.1 to make it clearer that by right uses are subject to Development and Operating Standards. 3. Updated references to three- and four-family dwellings, now part of multi-family. 4. Re-inserted a section for Temporary Uses in Section 3, and renumbered the following sections accordingly. Grouped all temporary uses in the Use Table, renumbered following sections accordingly. a. In 3.3.2, Time Periods for Temporary Uses, re-inserted existing language on "recurrent uses." 5. Table of Uses: a. Re-inserted Line for Dwellings in CB as Line A.1.03, renumbered following list accordingly. b. Corrected missing section number in Line 0.108. c. Re-inserted requirement for Special Permit for overnight take out food service in Line J.1.03. 6. Updated 4.2.4 regarding Lot Frontage: a. to ensure that there is no change to how lots on unaccepted streets are regulated (and renumbered subsections accordingly). b. Moved section explaining the measurement of frontage (originally from 135-37D) from a footnote of Table 2, to this section, as well as removed dates missed in previous reviews. 7. Updated 4.3, Height Regulations: a. Re-inserted the omitted height standard for structures other than buildings in 4.3.1. b. Moved the special permit section to the end of the section to mirror the general format of other sections. Appendix B 1
