<br />Lexington Human Rights Committee <br />Meeting Minutes <br />April 5, 2013 <br /> <br /> <br />Present: Albert Zabin, Linda Vine, Michael McLean, Emily Lavine, Bonnie Brodner, <br />Hank Manz, Melissa Buttaro, Bhumip Khasnabish, Fuang-Ying Huang <br />Meeting was called to order at 8:05 am <br />Follow up on the March incident: <br />Linda will edit the drafts as discussed in the meeting to address the March, 2013 incident <br />to both the alleged victim and the business owner involved. <br />Melissa will draft a letter to area business regarding diversity and to encourage business <br />owners to pledge to serve the increasing diversified community. <br />Action items: <br /> <br />1.Reach out to other Lexington Town departments. <br /> <br />2.Future programs that help Lexington business in inclusion and diversity. <br />Police Dept. report: <br />A pro-gun rally by a national pro-firearms organization is scheduled on April 19, 2013 on <br />Lexington Battle Green. The LPD doesn’t anticipate any issue. <br />Next Meeting: Friday, May 3rd at 8:00 a.m. in the Board of Selectmen’s Meeting Room <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
