<br />LDAC <br /> <br />EXINGTONESIGNDVISORYOMMITTEE <br />Meeting Minutes: <br /> <br />May 1, 2007 <br /> <br />Present: <br />Colin Smith (Chair), John Frey, Alenka Slezak, Timothy Lee, Bahig Kaldas, Patrick Goddard <br />Scribe: <br /> <br />Colin Smith <br />Call to Order: <br /> <br />The Meeting was called to Order at 7:30PM. <br /> <br />Approvals: <br />April 3, 2007 Meeting Minutes <br /> <br />Presentations/Review: <br />6 Meriam Street <br />The DAC reviewed drawings for a wireless facility in the Church of The Redeemer steeple and a fence <br />enclosure to screen related equipment at grade. The fence enclosure and access gate is visible from <br />Meriam Street and it was requested that the enclosure be located across the walkway, further from the street <br />and the gate be located so as not to be visible from the street. Relocating the enclosure would also benefit <br />the newly proposed stone path and garden in this area. The applicant needs to confirm that the antennae are <br />not visible through the steeple as the drawings imply the new un <br />which is not acceptable. <br /> <br />Captain Parker Arms- Sign Lighting <br />The DAC reviewed light fixture cut sheets for a freestanding sign that was previously reviewed by the <br />DAC. The metal halide lamp is acceptable for this purpose and it was suggested that the light fixtures be <br />screened with low plantings and be color black or bronze.
