Votes: September meeting minutes approved (unanimously) <br />West Lexington Greenway policy statement reviewed and approved <br />(unanimously). Copies to be forwarded to the Board of Selectmen, Planning <br />Board and Conservation Administrator (Action Item — Keith) <br />2. Current Business: <br />West Lexington Greenway Report to Community Preservation Committee: Keith <br />and Stew will work with Karen Mullins to prepare a summary report to the CPC. <br />(Action Item — Stew, Keith) <br />b. Town -wide Recreational Route Mapping Project <br />• Suggestion to include average route travel times <br />• Suggestion to plan information deliverables for electronic format with <br />paper maps and trail guides as secondary <br />• Wellesley has a good town -wide system in place to serve as one model <br />• Suggestion to contact Dawn McKenna to explore funding opportunity <br />• Peggy Enders is organizing a transportation themed presentation panel <br />for the February League of Women Voters First Friday series. <br />Presentation of this project may be possible. <br />Action Item — Mike offered to develop draft of signage system <br />Action Item — Rick/Alex to develop draft of marked up town map <br />showing initial proposed routes <br />Action Item — Rick/Alex/Keith/Stew to visit Wellesley to gather <br />materials and explore their route system <br />c. Lexington 300 Events <br />• Stew has offered to lead a bicycle tour visiting historical sites in town <br />• Coordination with the walks led by Citizens for Lexington Conservation <br />will be arranged to avoid duplication of effort (Action Item — Keith) <br />
