Votes: Minutes of June 20 meeting approved <br />2. Reports: <br />Status of "recommended routes" solicitation (Rick): <br />• via email - the notice soliciting route information is beginning to <br />appear on various town lists and information is coming in <br />Commission on Disability meeting (Stew): <br />• any structure on public land or for public use must comply with <br />CMR521 (state law regulating accessibility), per information provided and <br />described by Garry Rhodes, Lexington Building Commissioner <br />• per CMR521, boardwalks such as Stewards build should be 48" wide <br />• Enforcement is not official responsibility of Conservation Commission <br />or Division <br />• GCC and Stewards should consider regulations on future projects <br />Safe Routes to School (SR2S) (Peggy): <br />• Peggy spoke w/ SR2S head, Judy Crocker, at length <br />• SR2S might/should be good collaborator for GCC; SR2S can fundraise <br />where necessary for GCC identified trails (Stewards may be involved in <br />construction) <br />• SR2S may have prioritized list of routes that GCC can use as resource <br />• Peggy will attend SR2S September meeting <br />• Alex will forward Slobodtchikov email to Peggy for Judy Crocker <br />West Lexington Greenway Master Plan (Stew): <br />• documents ready late on July 18 or early on 19 for download <br />• 25% design plan ready in next week or two <br />3. Old Business: <br />Discussion of design standard for Minuteman Connector portion of West <br />Lexington Greenway (Keith): <br />comment [xci] : concom Will <br />• TWO options for Greenway Connector: <br />likely not approve stone dust or other <br />1) general use "unimproved" trail w/ boardwalks <br />gill" material due to wet land <br />2) VHB designed all season route - <br />restrictions so I think it best to delete <br />mention. <br />
