1985 Town Meetings - Summary by Session
<br />Lexington High School Band. The other two award
<br />winners, Chris Vellis and Kirstin O'Sullivan, had
<br />received their awards on Patriot's Day. The
<br />ceremony was preceded by the Spirit of '76 marching
<br />through the hall: Kevin McLaughlin and Peter Cohen,
<br />drummers, and Kristin Kean, fifer.

<br />54, 56. Adjourned 10:56.
<br />Eleventh Session, May 13. The invocation was
<br />offered by Dr. George Gurganus of the Lexington
<br />Church of Christ. There were 183 members present.
<br />Article 21 was considered. Article 7 was
<br />reconsidered. Adjourned 11:33.
<br />Twelfth Session, May 15. The invocation was offered
<br />by Rev. David C. Myers, Pastor of United Methodist
<br />Church. There were 169 members present.
<br />The following articles were considered: 16, 57, 58,
<br />19, 60, 61, and 8. Article 61 was tabled. Article
<br />24 was refused reconsideration. Adjourned 10:12
<br />p.m.

<br />meeting dissolved at 10:41 p.m.

<br />First Session, December 2. The invocation was
<br />offered by the Moderator. There were 177 members
<br />present. Articles through 6 were considered.

<br />by motion to adjourn to December 16, which carried.
