<br />TOWN OF LEXINGTON, MASSACHUSETTS <br />CONSERVATION COMMISSION <br />MINUTES <br />Tuesday, April 17, 2012 <br />7:30 P.M. <br />Parker Room, Town Office Building <br />1625 Massachusetts Avenue <br /> <br /> <br />Chair Joyce Miller opened the meeting at 7:30 pm in the Parker Room of the Town <br />Office Building. <br /> <br />Commissioners Present: Joyce Miller, Stew Kennedy, Phil Hamilton, Dick Wolk, and <br />David Langseth <br /> <br />Commissioners Absent: Duke Bitsko <br /> <br />7:35 pm Meeting - RDA, Lincoln Park <br /> DET# 12-08 <br />Reconstruction of a paved pathway <br /> Documentation: RDA Application <br />Present for the Applicant: Marc Valenti, Highway Superintendent <br /> <br />Mr. Valenti described a proposal to renovate a paved pathway. The <br />bituminous concrete would be removed and replaced with new bituminous <br />concrete as well as gravel if needed. <br /> <br />Comments from the Commission as follows: <br /> Mr. Kennedy asked for a clarification on the plan and it contained the <br />entire pathway from end to end. Mr. Langseth questioned the type of <br />equipment that would be used. He suggested that work cease when it is <br />too wet out and no re-fueling should occur on site. Mr. Kennedy <br />commented that detour signs should be installed for people using the <br />pathway. Mr. Wolk asked when the pathway was constructed. <br /> <br />Motion made and seconded to issue a negative determination with <br />conditions, 5-0 in favor. <br /> <br />7:45 pm Cont.
