Minutes <br />Town Celebrations Committee <br />November 7, 2012 <br />Estabrook Hall at Cary Hall <br />Members Present <br />Suzie Barry, Dick Crogan, Linda Dixon, Jo -Anne Granger, Paul Jenkins, Julie Miller, <br />Wayne Miller, Bill Mix, Henry Murphy, Sandy Podgorski and Charlie Price <br />Members Not Present <br />Mary Gillespie, Sondra Lucente, Jim Shaw, Dave Taylor and Bob Tracey <br />Business <br />• Suzie Barry convened the meeting at 5:15 pm. <br />• Minutes for November 1, 2012 were approved with one change. <br />• The meeting schedule through May 2013 was distributed. <br />• Committee members voted to cancel the November 14, 2012 meeting. <br />• Next meeting will be held on December 5, 2012, 7 pm at the DPW building. <br />At that time, the committee will give Veterans' Day feedback, launch <br />Patriots' Day planning, approve applications and discuss chief marshal <br />options. <br />Veterans' Breakfast 2012 Report <br />• Guest speaker Rep. Harold Naughton's speech was well received. Mark <br />Callahan was guest soloist. <br />• Suzie reserved the first Saturday in November 2013 for the next breakfast. <br />• Rotary Club volunteers did a superb job with food service. Suzie will thank <br />them for their support. <br />• The sign up process for attending the breakfast was discussed. Linda Dixon <br />will construct a survey to send to veteran attendees to gain feedback about <br />the event and to determine where we can make improvements. <br />• Marie Hill will compile a list of veterans' addresses. <br />1 <br />
