Meeting called to order. <br /> <br />Present: Tom Griffiths, Shirley Stolz, Nahrain Bhatia, George Burnell. Absent: Charles Hornig. <br /> <br />Minutes of 10/31 and 11/07 accepted as amended. <br /> <br />7:40 P.M. Committee was joined by Robin DiGiammarino, Chairperson, School Committee and <br />John Moynihan, Director of Facilities. <br /> <br />John presented the preliminary capital budget for each of the next five years. The projects <br />presented are the estimated requirement if there is no elementary school refurbishing/building <br />program: <br /> <br />There is a place holder for technology in the cash capital budget each year for $250,000. They <br />anticipate 60% for computers, 20% services, 10% network, and 10% services. <br /> <br />Another $355,000 will be requested for FY03 as follows: <br /> <br /> Hastings Repair interior/exterior walls $ 50,000 <br /> Clarke Replace gym floor 80,000 <br /> Hastings Expand parking lot 25,000 <br /> Administration Restore exterior of building 150,000 <br /> Systemwide Replace '86 van and '90 pickup 50,000 <br /> <br />FY04 <br /> <br /> Bowman Roof replacement $800,000 <br /> Estabrook Roof replacement & repair 75,000 <br /> Fiske Mechanical upgrade 932,184 <br /> Harrington Gym floor replacement 60,000 <br /> <br />FY05 <br /> <br /> Bowman Mechanical upgrade $1,617,634 <br /> Electrical/lighting 207,000 <br /> Ceiling replacement 356,012 <br /> Emergency generator 110,871 <br /> Hastings Roof replacement 221,743 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
