<br />MEETING DATE 11/07/2001 <br />Present: ShirleyS, NarainB, GeorgeB, Karen Simmons <br />Call to order: 7.40 PM <br /> <br />Karen presented the capital plan of the recreation department. The FY01 appropriated items <br />were in progress and on budget. <br />All the capital projects proposed were the same as last year except two: The center Playground <br />Improvements for 200K in FY07 and Lincoln field Improvements for 50K in FY06. These were <br />discussed. <br /> <br />Discussion on golf course about new bids for management contract. Current contract is for 340K <br />plus 5% of gross plus pro-shop profits. The golf course gross was 740K. NarainB asked for <br />survey of management fees that is being conducted by the management company. GeorgeB <br />suggested that the most important item in Golf course is the course itself as opposed the Barn or <br />roads. <br /> <br />KarenS left at about 8.45 PM <br /> <br />Discussion on school plans by GeorgeB. He is concerned about lack of definitive answers on the <br />school designs fitting the educational concept of BOTS.
