<br /> <br />Town of Lexington <br />Historic Districts Commission <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Minutes of May 5, 2005 <br /> <br />Commissioners in attendance: Joann Gschwendtner - Chairman, Ian Adamson, Mark DiNapoli, <br />Lynn Hopkins, and Joseph Welch; Associate Commissioners James Lee and Greta Rothman. <br /> <br /> <br />PETITIONS HEARD: <br /> <br /> <br />FORMAL HEARINGS <br /> <br />1756 Massachusetts Avenue – <br /> Karen Blake, representing Valentines, requested and received a <br />continuance until June, 2005. <br /> <br />1361 Massachusetts Avenue - <br />Steven Breitenfeld received approval to replace asphalt roof <br />shingles and to relocate and bury utility lines. Certificate No. 2005C-14. Porch and carriage <br />housework continued waiting for more detailed plans. <br /> <br /> <br />CONTINUED HEARINGS <br /> <br />1751 Massachusetts Avenue <br /> – Reese Schroeder, representing Jasmine Sola, did not attend <br />hearing. <br /> <br />13 Depot Square <br />– David Wells, representing Lexington Historic Society received approval for <br />lawn planting, in-ground irrigation and brick sidewalk. Certificate No. 2005C-15. <br /> <br />1727 Massachusetts Avenue – <br />Kathleen Wentworth, representing Not Your Average Joe’s, <br />received approval for a new umbrella color and for the front wrought iron railings. Certificate <br />No. 2005C-16. Signage continued. <br /> <br /> <br />INFORMAL HEARINGS <br /> <br /> <br />703 Massachusetts Avenue <br />– Steven Breitenfeld, representing Waldorf School, presented <br />preliminary drawings for Exterior Architectural Changes. Will come before Board for formal in <br />June. <br /> <br />12 Hancock Street - <br /> Sally DeGan, representing John and Courtney Michaud, did not attend <br />hearing. <br /> <br />45 Bedford Street – <br />Peter Chalpin, representing the Town Of Lexington, presented preliminary <br />plans to add a brick walkway and re-grade at door in front of the Fire Station. <br /> <br /> <br />1625 MASSACHUSETTS AVENUE • LEXINGTON, MASSACHUSETTS 02420 <br /> <br />
