<br /> <br />Town of Lexington <br />Historic Districts Commission <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Minutes of November 4, 2004 <br /> <br />Commissioners in attendance: Joann Gschwendtner, Chairman, Lynn Hopkins; Associate <br />Commissioners, James Lee, Eleanor MacQueen and Joe Welch. <br /> <br /> <br />PETITIONS HEARD: <br /> <br />FORMAL HEARINGS <br /> <br />40 Hancock Street – <br />Richard & Robin Millman, were not present; James DiGioia was there to <br />represent window installation. Hearing continued for details. <br /> <br />1888 Massachusetts Avenue – <br />Sally Zimmerman, representing Church of Our Redeemer, <br />received approval for the in-kind reconstruction and installation of liner and bluestone chimney <br />cap on the rear chimney serving the boiler at the Rectory building. Certificate No. 2004C-66 <br /> <br />7 Eliot Road – <br />Wade and Nancy Thompson received approval to install a PermaCoat black <br />chain link fence. Certificate No. 2004C-67 <br /> <br />45 Bedford Street/735 Massachusetts Avenue/1575 Massachusetts Avenue – <br />Michael <br />Morrissey came before the Board concerning Baby Safe Haven sign issues. The Board <br />recommended signage on interior of windows at the police and fire stations as well as <br />notification in the front of the Lexington phone book. <br /> <br />910 Massachusetts Avenue – <br />David and Ruth Rose received approval to rebuild an existing <br />sunroom with alteration to the roofline. Certificate No. 2004C-68 <br /> <br />1707 Massachusetts Avenue – <br />Sam Ibrahim, representing Edison Way Realty LLC, received <br />approval for signs. Certificate No. 2004C-69 Siding and air-condition covers were continued. <br /> <br />1727 Massachusetts Avenue - <br />Ed Grant and Peter Niemitz, representing Not Your Average <br />Joe’s, received approval for signage. Certificate No. 2004C-70 <br /> <br />1840 Massachusetts Avenue – <br />Jeffrey Sarra, representing Banknorth Group, Inc., received <br />approval for signage. Certificate No. 2004C-71 <br /> <br />1403 Massachusetts Avenue – <br />Jeffrey Lipsky, representing The Munroe Center for the Arts, <br />requested permission for an outdoor performance stage. Hearing was continued. <br /> <br />25 Waltham Street – <br />Debbie Heffernan, representing D & R Realty Trust, received approval to <br />create entrance on north side of building along the alley.
