<br /> <br />Town of Lexington <br />Historic Districts Commission <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Minutes of October 3, 2002 <br /> <br />Commissioners in attendance: Joann Gschwendtner, Chairman; Ian Adamson, Mark DiNapoli, <br />Dan Fenn, Lynn Hopkins, and Associate Commissioners James Lee and Eleanor MacQueen. <br /> <br />PETITIONS HEARD: <br /> <br />1475 Massachusetts Avenue – <br />Steven Hurley, representing the Town of Lexington, received <br />approval to install two (2) teak benches. Certificate No. 2002C-69 <br /> <br />1095 Massachusetts Avenue – <br />Communications Link, representing Shell, received approval to <br />install a satellite dish on the rear roof. Certificate No. 2002C-70 <br /> <br />27 Depot Square – <br />David Winston, representing Winston Flowers, was denied wooden stands <br />for plant and flower displays in window alcoves. Will return with design for planters in alcoves. <br />Certificate No. 2002C-71 <br /> <br />1073 Massachusetts Avenue – <br />William Erickson, representing Patrick Martin, received <br />approval for remodeling. Certificate No. 2002C-72 <br /> <br />5 Tavern Lane – <br />John Farr and Usha Thakrar received approval for 1-1/2 story garage addition. <br />Certificate No. 2002C-73 <br /> <br />30 Waltham Street – <br />Bob Woodman, representing Chyten Education, received approval for a <br />projecting sign. Certificate No. 2002C-74 <br /> <br />1840 Massachusetts Avenue – <br />Richard Batten, Batten Bros., Inc., representing Boston Federal, <br />received approval for two new signs to replace existing. Certificate No. 2002C-75 <br /> <br />32-42 Worthen Road – <br />Stephen Mahoney, TH Niles, representing Battlegreen Apartments, was <br />continued to November hearing. <br /> <br />CONTINUED: <br /> <br />1727 Massachusetts Avenue – <br />Henry Patterson, representing Copacafe, received approval for <br />miscellaneous changes to approved plans.
