<br /> <br />Town of Lexington <br />Historic Districts Commission <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Minutes of May 2, 2002 <br /> <br />Commissioners in attendance: Ian Adamson, Dan Fenn, Joann Gschwendtner, Lynn Hopkins, <br />and Associate Commissioners, Daniel Griffin, James Lee, and Eleanor MacQueen. <br /> <br />PETITIONS HEARD: <br /> <br />1709 Massachusetts Avenue – <br />Tom Fenn, representing Khushboo, received approval for tables, <br />nd <br />chairs, and umbrellas to be used on the 2 floor balcony. Dan Fenn recused himself from this <br />hearing. Certificate No. 2002C-28 <br /> <br />1-16 Judges Road – <br />Pine Grove Village received approval to replace storm doors and sliders on <br />each of the 16 units. Certificate No. 2002C-29 <br /> <br />7 Maple Street – <br />Gant Redmon received approval to add a deck to the rear of his home. <br />Certificate No. 2002C-30 <br /> <br />11 Hancock Avenue <br /> – Upesh Patel and William Schulze, T&W Custom Builders, received <br />approval for side porch and driveway. Ian Adamson recused himself from this hearing. <br />Certificate No. 2002C-31 <br /> <br />Center Revitalization Subcommittee – <br />Sheila Watson, representing the Center Revitalization <br />Subcommittee, received approval for 15 new barrels and 3 cigarette receptacles for the center. <br />Certificate No. 2002C-32 <br /> <br />1853 Massachusetts Avenue – <br />Jean-Claude Massad, Candy Castle, received approval for 7 <br />tables and 14 chairs to be placed in window openings and removal of “King Arthur”, pending <br />Board of Appeals approval, if necessary. Certificate No. 2002C-33 <br /> <br />1404 Massachusetts Avenue – <br />Keith West received approval to remove vinyl siding and repair <br />slate roof. Hearing continued for additional work. Certificate No. 2002C-34 <br /> <br />3 Ellen Dana Court – <br />Bruce Neumann received approval to repaint house different color. <br />Certificate No. 2002C-35 <br /> <br />CONTINUED: <br /> <br />12 Hancock Street – <br />Nicholas Gall received approval to place a playset at 10 Hancock Avenue <br />for a period of ten years. Ian Adamson recused himself from this hearing. Certificate No. <br />2002C-36 <br /> <br />Visitors Center – <br />Robert Hopwood, representing the Lexington Lion’s Club, received approval <br />to place 2 teak benches on the pathway in front of the Visitor’s Center.
