<br /> <br />Town of Lexington <br />Historic Districts Commission <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Minutes of March 7, 2002 <br /> <br />Commissioners in attendance: Ian Adamson, Mark DiNapoli, Dan Fenn, Lynn Hopkins, and <br />Associate Commissioner Daniel Griffin <br /> <br />PETITIONS HEARD: <br /> <br />14 Muzzey Street – Sly & Fiore, PC – <br /> Hearing continued to April. <br /> <br />10 Brigham Road - <br />Danielle Buckley from Bechtel Frank Erickson Architects, representing <br />nd <br />Sidney and Susan Rubenstein, received approval for a 7-foot 2 floor addition and renovations <br />to the home. Certificate No. 2002C-15 <br /> <br />1357 Massachusetts Avenue – <br />Adina Curreri from Bechtel Brank Erickson Architects, <br />representing Will and Lauren Spielvogel, received approval for an addition and renovations to <br />the home. Certificate No. 2002C-16 <br /> <br />USS Lexington Memorial/Visitors Center – <br />Robert Hopwood, representing the Lexington <br />Lion’s Club, presented a plan to put to benches to the side of the USS Lexington Memorial. <br />Commissioners felt location was not appropriate. The Commissioner’s suggested the Lion’s <br />Club look into locating the benches around the WWII Memorial to help it fit in better with USS <br />Lexington Memorial. Hearing continued to April. <br /> <br />CONTINUED: <br /> <br />443A Massachusetts Avenue – <br />Greta Aanensen and Robin Combs received approval to lower <br />nd <br />window on left side elevation on 2 floor down enough to include a triangular vent above the <br />window. On front elevation, received approval to install lamp at front door and porch door. <br />Certificate No. 2002C-17 <br /> <br />1874 Massachusetts Avenue – <br />Stephen Hale, representing Cary Library, received approval for <br />Deer Isle Granite, both rock-pitched and polished, and Elk Brook Bluestone (thermal finish). <br />Commissioners will be contacted with mock-ups are ready for viewing. Dan Fenn recused <br />himself from the hearing. Certificate No. 2002C-18 <br /> <br />INFORMALS: <br /> <br />763 Massachusetts Avenue – <br />Mart Ojamaa, representing Follen Church, presented plans to <br />st <br />renovate Church parsonage to include handicap bathroom on 1 floor and handicap ramp from <br />rear entrance. Commissioners asked that Church to look at alternative locations for ramp and/or <br />adding landscaping.
