Certificate No. 2002C-1 <br /> <br />1792 Massachusetts Avenue – <br />Karen Packard, representing Wales Copy Center, received <br />approval for a new sign. Certificate No. 2002C-2 <br /> <br />440 Massachusetts Avenue – <br />Heather Sweeney received approval for an addition to her house. <br />Certificate No. 2002C-3 <br /> <br />1351 Massachusetts Avenue – <br />Jeffrey Ellowitz presented plans for fencing. Commissioners <br />denied request by 3-2 vote (Adamson and Denzak approved, Hopkins, Gschwendtner, <br />MacQueen denied). Certificate No. 2002C-4 <br /> <br />1475 Massachusetts Avenue – <br />Clay Mitchell from Shomaker, Inc., representing Muzzey <br />Condominiums, received approval to replace all columns on rear walkway and rebuild center <br />walkway cover between two porticos. Certificate No. 2002C-5. <br /> <br />CONTINUED: <br /> <br />1874 Massachusetts Avenue – <br />Dan Watt, representing Cary Library, received approval to put a <br />“thermometer” sign on the library until end of August 2002. Certificate No. 2002C-6 <br /> <br />840 Massachusetts Avenue – <br />Judi and John Brosnan presented plans for an addition to the rear <br />of their home. Hearing continued for additional detail. <br /> <br />1365 Massachusetts Avenue – <br />Brian Adley’s request for a flagpole and flag at his property was <br />denied because he has not returned for approval. Certificate No. 2002C-7 <br /> <br />INFORMALS: <br /> <br />782 Massachusetts Avenue – <br />Arch Horst, representing Faith Ferguson and Denis Haskin, <br />presented plans for an addition.
