Citizens and Other Boards <br />There were no citizens or other boards present. <br /> <br />2. Recreation Committee Meeting Minutes <br />th <br />Dick Thuma moved and Bob Boudreau seconded approval of the October 17 Recreation <br />Committee minutes. The Recreation Committee approved the motion 5 – 0. <br /> <br /> 3.Youth Sports Council Update <br /> <br />Peter Coleman, Supervisor of Recreation, provided the Recreation Committee with <br />background information about the proposed Youth Sports Council, including the <br />th <br />questions and issues raised at the September 19 Summit. He then offered the Recreation <br />Committee a proposal (attached) for the “charge” and framework of the Youth Sports <br />Council. <br />The Recreation Committee with input from Lexington High School Athletic Director, <br />Tony Porter, and Lexington Youth Lacrosse President, Paul Mazur, discussed and <br />debated the proposed membership, terms of office, and number of yearly council <br />meetings, as well as an appropriate schedule of reports to the Recreation Committee. <br />Karen Simmons told the Recreation Committee that she, Peter and Dave Pinsonneault <br />would meet to review and revise the proposed Council charge, based upon the <br />1625 MASSACHUSETTS AVENUE • LEXINGTON, MASSACHUSETTS 02420 <br /> <br /> <br />
