Citizens and Other Boards 2. Recreation Committee Meeting Minutes The minutes of the June 15, 2005 Recreation Committee Meeting were reviewed and accepted by a vote of 3 – 0. 3. Daniel Woodhouse – Eagle Scout Project presentation Karen Simmons introduced and welcomed Daniel Woodhouse, Eagle Scout candidate. Daniel explained the overall purpose of an Eagle Scout project, and presented the Recreation Committee with his proposal and designs for the construction of a scoreboard for the Fitzgerald Little League Field at the Center playground. (Schematics are attached). Daniel told the Committee members that if his proposal were approved it would be his goal to get the scoreboard completed and installed by Little League Opening Day, 2006. After a brief question and answer period, Rick DeAngelis made the following motion: The Recreation Committee approves Daniel Woodhouse’s Eagle Scout Project to construct a scoreboard at the Fitzgerald Little League Field substantially in accordance with the presentation and consistent with Design #2. The project is subject to review and approval by Karen Simmons and David Pinsonneault of the construction methods, materials and location.
