Citizens and Other Boards <br /> <br />2. Meeting Minutes <br />The minutes of the February 16 and March 9, 2005 meetings were approved 4 – 0. <br /> <br />3. Community Preservation Act <br />Karen Simmons and Sandra Shaw reported that Town Meeting passed the Community <br />Preservation Act warrant article. At the next town election the residents will vote on <br />adoption of the CPA. <br /> <br />4. Lincoln Park Bathrooms <br />The Recreation Committee discussed, at length, the pros and cons of going forward with the <br />Capital Article to fund construction of the Lincoln Park bathrooms. <br />?? <br />Dick Thuma suggested that the design of the facility should go through the Permanent <br />Building Committee. <br />?? <br />Rick DeAngelis noted that there is no design plan for the building, although he <br />advised the Committee that he had heard that Selectman Peter Kelley was discussing <br />the project with town builders and representatives of youth sports leagues in the <br />Town. <br />?? <br />Sandra Shaw informed the Recreation Committee about the meeting she recently <br />attended, which had been called by the Selectmen. <br />?? <br />Dick Thuma asked if the majority of Recreation Committee members believed that <br />the project should go forward in 2005 – 2006. Rick DeAngelis indicated his <br />preference to indefinitely postpone the Capital Article.
