Citizens and Other Boards 2. Meeting Minutes The minutes of the February meeting were unavailable. 3. Waldorf School Garden Request Joe O’Regan, Waldorf School Operations Manager, Amelia Mueller and Greg Georgaklis, Waldorf School parents, presented a proposal for a new herb garden area at the rear of the Waldorf School. (Initial letter and drawing are attached.) They indicated that the proposed garden would consist of four 4-foot by 6-foot raised beds that will be planted and tended by third graders at the school. The gardens are to be located between the existing basketball court and an area approximately thirty feet from the pond. Karen Simmons told the Waldorf School representatives that the tennis and basketball courts would be reconstructed this summer. She noted her concern that construction vehicles could possibly damage the gardens. Greg Georgaklis told the Recreation Committee that the School would erect temporary fencing around the area. Karen Simmons and the Recreation Committee also indicated that since the gardens would fall within the 100-foot conservation buffer zone, the Waldorf School would be required to obtain approval from the Conservation Commission.
