<br />PLANNING BOARD MINUTES <br />MEETING OF March 28, 2007 <br /> <br />A regular meeting of the Lexington Planning Board, was held in Room G-1, Town Office Building, and <br />called to order at 6:25 p.m. by Chairman Manz with members Canale, Zurlo, Hornig and planning staff <br />McCall-Taylor, Henry and Kaufman present. Mr. Galaitsis was absent. <br /> <br />**************************************MINUTES************************************** <br />The Board deferred discussion of the minutes of March 7, 2007 to a later date, when Mr. Galaitsis would <br />be present to address his changes. <br /> <br />***************************************REPORTS************************************* <br /> <br />Mr. Canale, the town representative to Metropolitan Area Planning Council, said that at the last meeting <br />there was a change to the charter allowing each town to have an alternate. We have 1 of 125 votes and <br />there are three council meetings annually. The alternate can be a Board of Selectmen, Town Manager or <br />someone from the Planning Staff. It is the prerogative of the Board of Selectmen to make that <br />determination. The Board favored a member of the Planning Staff. <br /> <br />*********************** ARTICLES FOR 2007 TOWN MEETING************************** <br /> <br />Community Preservation Committee Operating Budget and CPA Projects Articles: <br />The Board discussed their position on the following projects within the CPC Article: <br />1) The monument restoration Burial Grounds, on a motion duly made and seconded, it was voted 3- <br />1 (Mr. Hornig opposed) to support; <br />2) The updating of the Historical and Cultural Inventory, on a motion duly made and seconded, it <br />was voted 4-0 to support; <br />3) The Initial Impact Study of Cary Hall, on a motion duly made and seconded, it was voted 4-0 to <br />support; <br />4) Implementation of Unified Historic Signage, on a motion duly made and seconded, it was voted <br />4-0 to support; <br />5) The window replacement at Greeley Village, requires further policy development before the <br />Board makes any decision; <br />6) The Muzzey Condominium Facilities study, requires further policy development before the Board <br /> <br />
