<br /> <br />Minutes of the Lexington Zoning Board of Appeals <br />Selectmen’s Meeting Room, Lexington Town Hall <br />August 9, 2012 <br /> <br /> <br />Board Members Present: Chairman – Carolyn C. Wilson, John J. McWeeney, David G. <br />Williams, Martha C. Wood and Associate Member Edward D. McCarthy <br /> <br />Staff Present: Dianne Cornaro, Administrative Clerk and David George, Zoning <br />Administrator <br /> <br />Petition Address: 27 Vinebrook Road, Map 48, Lot 68 <br /> <br />Petitioner submitted the following information with the application: nature and <br />justification of request; topographic plan; plot plan; letter from David George to <br />applicant dated June 13, 2012 and letters of support from abutters at 3 Sherburne <br />Road and 25 Vinebrook Road. <br /> <br />Prior to the hearing, the petition and supporting data were reviewed by the Building <br />Commissioner, Conservation Administrator, Town Engineer, Board of Selectmen, the <br />Zoning Administrator, the Planning Director and the Historic Districts Commission <br />Clerk. Comments were received from the Conservation Administrator and the Zoning <br />Administrator. <br /> <br />The Chairman opened the hearing at 7:30 pm by reading the legal notice and <br />described information received from the petitioner. <br /> <br />Richard Ashton, owner of the property, presented the petition. <br /> <br />The petitioner is requesting a Variance in accordance with the Lexington Zoning By- <br />Law section 135-39B (1) (a) to allow a fence to be a maximum height of 7 ft. 6 inches <br />instead of the required 6 ft. maximum height allowed. <br /> <br />At the hearing the applicant presented pictures of the site to the Board. <br /> <br />There were no Board questions. <br /> <br />There were no questions from the audience. <br /> <br />No one spoke in support or in opposition of the petition. <br /> <br />The hearing was closed at 7:38 pm. <br /> <br />During discussion one of the Board members commented that she does not like to <br />vote for something that has already been done but since the abutters agreed to this <br />she will vote in favor of the petition. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
