Selectmen’s Meeting <br />September 7, 2010 <br /> <br />A meeting of the Board of Selectmen was held on Tuesday, September 7, 2010, at 6:00 p.m. in <br />the Selectmen Meeting Room, Town Office Building. Chairman Manz, Mr. Kelley, Mr. Burnell <br />and Ms. Mauger; Mr. Valente, Town Manager and Ms. Pease, Executive Clerk, were present. <br /> <br />Liquor Hearing – New Restaurant License – Buca di Beppo <br /> <br />Mr. Fogelman, Attorney; Mr. Romano, General Manager; and Mr. Bridgeman, proposed <br />manager, were present to answer any questions regarding a new liquor license for Buca di <br />nd <br />Beppo. They have received a building permit to bring the 2 floor to compliance with fire <br />regulations. They are hoping to open by the end of September. <br /> <br />Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was voted 4-0 to approve the application for a new <br />liquor license and issue an all alcoholic common victualler liquor license to Buca Restaurants, <br />Inc., d/b/a Buca di Beppo, 20 Waltham Street. <br /> <br />Liquor License Hearing – Transfer to Waxy’s Lex LLC, d/b/a Waxy O’Connor’s <br /> <br />Mr. Farrington, Attorney; Mr. Hyde, Partner in Waxy’s Lex LLC; Mr. Patel, owner of the site <br />and leasing to Waxy’s; and Mr. Blaney, proposed manager, were present to answer any <br />questions. Waxy’s is an Irish pub for families that will serve lunch and dinner. They plan to <br />have billiard tables. <br /> <br />Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was voted 4-0 to approve the application to transfer a <br />liquor license and issue an all alcoholic common victualler liquor license to Waxy’s Lex LLC, <br />d/b/a Waxy O’Connor’s, 94 Hartwell Avenue. <br /> <br />Confirmation of Polling Places for September 14 Primary <br /> <br />Mr. Manz proposed instructions to the audience on how to get to information that is available on <br />the Town’s webpage regarding the PCB issue at the Estabrook School. <br /> <br />Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was voted 4-0 to confirm Estabrook School as polling <br />location for the September 14 primary. <br /> <br />Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was voted to adjourn at 6:20 p.m. <br /> <br />A true record; Attest: <br /> <br /> <br /> Lynne A.
