<br />DRAFT <br /> <br />Lexington Housing Partnership and LexHAB Proposal to Board of Selectmen <br />Dec. 6, 2011 <br /> <br /> <br />Dear Board of Selectmen, <br />LexHAB and the Lexington Housing Partnership would like the following to be <br />considered by the Board of Selectmen with regard to the possible acquisition of Wright <br />Farm. <br /> <br /> <br />The FY2013 Wright Farm Warrant Article to include all four interests <br /> <br />(affordable housing and open space and recreation and historic) to give the most <br />flexibility and potential to the future possible purchase. In addition since it will <br />likely be purchased with CPA funds, the Community Preservation Act supports all <br />four interests. <br /> <br /> <br /> A group of LexHAB and the Lexington Housing Partnership members met on <br /> <br />Dec. 6 ,2011 and agreed that everyone present at the meeting supported <br />affordable housing development on the Wright Farm site. <br /> <br /> <br /> It was also agreed that this proposal would be presented to LexHAB <br /> <br />th <br />members at their Dec. 14 meeting and to Lexington Housing Partnership <br />th <br />members at their Dec. 15to give committee members the opportunity to vote <br />on this proposal and then forward it on to the Board of Selectmen. <br /> <br />Thank you for your consideration and please let us know what you decide. <br />Sincerely, <br />LexHAB Chair ( Bill Kennedy) and Committee <br />Lexington Housing Partnership Chair Chris Kluchman) and Committee <br /> <br />
