<br /> <br />th <br />Lexington 300 Anniversary Celebration Committee <br />Town Office Building – Room 111 – 12:00 p.m. <br />January 6, 20110 <br />Minutes <br />Members: <br />Eric Carlson Attending Susan Rockwell Attending <br />Denise Dube Not Attending Cynthia Savage Not Attending <br />Mary Gillespie Attending Ernest Van Seasholes Attending <br />Donna Hooper Attending Benjamin Soule Attending <br />Jane Hundley Attending Jessie Steigerwald Attending <br />Richard Kollen Attending Suzanne Barry, Ex-Officio Not Attending <br /> <br />AGENDA: <br /> <br />A.Updates – Corporation documents, logo, responses to mailings <br /> <br />B.Organizational – updates from working groups <br /> <br />C.Community Meeting – date for next meeting <br /> <br />th <br />Lexington 300 LOGO: <br />Discussion on the 7 logo submittals received and interest of the Committee to widen the <br />search, possibly invite back the 7 students and connect with professional graphic <br />designer/artists. <br /> <br />Jessie Steigerwald & Jane Hundley agreed to get together a subcommittee to determine how <br />to move forward and possibly to invite graphic designer to work with student submitters. <br />Graphic Arts Department Head Sean Hagan will be approached by Van Seasholes & Dick <br />Kollen and asked for recommendations to proceed. <br /> <br />Corporation Documents – <br /> Attorney Alan Wrigley attended and explained work done thus <br />th <br />far for incorporation. Question on the possible relationship between the Lexington 300 <br />Committee and possible Corporation Directors was raised. Alan and Sue Rockwell will <br />question Selectman Norman Cohen for recommendations. <br /> <br />Donna Hooper reported preliminary work done to establish a ‘gift account’ through the <br />th <br />Revenue Office to receive gifts specifically for the Lexington 300 Anniversary celebration. <br /> <br />Sue Rockwell distributed some copies of specific proposals received from community groups <br />th <br />planning to participate in the 300 Anniversary Celebration . <br /> [listing to be made in minutes and <br />where available] <br /> <br />th <br />Donna Hooper will move ahead to set-up the Google Calendar on the Lexington 300 web <br />site. Eric Carlson recommended we start with the 13-September 2012 through <br />13-September 2013. <br /> <br />Next community event is scheduled for March 3, 2011. Van Seasholes recommended that <br />rd <br />‘personal touch’ to invite participants to the March 3 event. The Committee is to extend <br />personal contacts with groups/individuals.
