Other Business <br /> <br />UPDATES: <br />Ben Soule is joining the Committee as a member and awaiting appointment by the Board <br />of Selectmen. <br /> <br />1.Corporation Documents – Attorney Alan Wrigley continues to prepare <br />documents. <br /> <br />2.Responses to Mailings – <br /> <br />a.Lexington Pops Chorus – Commissioning a composition and plans <br />th <br />concerts for Jan. 18 & 19, 2013 - to be the 30 anniversary of the Chorus. <br />The Pops Chorus us committed to raising necessary funds for planned <br />events. <br /> <br />b.Next Steps – where are the gaps for community/organization participation <br /> <br />3.Logo Competition – <br /> <br />a.Dick Kollen has issued press release to Lexington Minuteman newspaper <br />and will forward for web posting. <br /> <br />b.Competition to be overseen by Sean Hagan, K-12 Coordinator, Fine Arts <br />Department, Lexington Public Schools. <br /> <br />Ben Soule indicated he will check with the parishioners of the First Parish Church on <br />possible interest in revival of the 1963 performance of ‘They Nobly Dared’ <br /> <br />c.Organizational Structure/Subcommittees/Working Groups <br /> <br />4.Discussion on potential leadership/participation in identified Working Groups: <br /> <br />a.Time Capsule & Permanent Memorial – Doug Lucente, Stanley Abkowitz <br />(titanium time capsule donor) <br /> <br />Interest in memorial monument/piece at Depot Square <br />o <br /> <br /> <br />o <br />Sue Rockwell will organize and compile all proposals received for review by <br />Committee.
